  1.  For July, 2010 WF cruise, ESP team will use Johnson lab 1Km housing.  There were some issues with the last time it was used; weird readings--discussion ensued as to why readings not normal.
  2. Doug to draw up plans for pressure housing based on original aluminum design, keeping original diameter, using 2 radial o-rings to seal end caps.
  3. Doug will draw up plans for probe head opening using the actual probe he has, and getting rid of the current goofy SAE opening.
  4. We will make 2 Ti housings; ESP pays for 1, Johnson lab pays for 1.
  5. Eventually we will power the deep ISUS from our Deep-Sea Power and light battery stack, which will allow recharging if needed.  But for July we'll use Luke's battery pack (especially since it's such a short deployment).

ISUS specs

 Based on Luke's LOBO experiences, one 'single stick' battery pack will power ISUS for 6 months if sampling once/hr.  Thus, 20 min sampling rate would last ~1.2 months.  Duration scales proportionally.

1.  How will we power ISUS on DESP?  ISUS runs on 8-20V, 6-7 watts nominal.  Current plan is to run off the DESP batteries.

2.  Ken said they can build 2 ISUS starting right now.  One will be shallow, one deep.  We have also asked for 3 deep probes ($2200/ea).

3.  Luke will give Doug plans to modify the calibrator, and new flow-cell for calibrations; these are nec with the new titanium housing design.

4.  Doug will send plans for Ti housing out for bid.  Next steps will be determined by cost/time estimates.  Ken has offered us his aluminum housings for deep work.
